Moving DC/Exchange from one Hyper-V Host to Another

hi all,

i'm planning on moving bunch of vms hyper-v host. host running hyper-v role on server 2008 core installation.

amongst vms planning on moving are:
1. 2008 r2 domain controller + dns
2. exchange 2007
3. isa

in past vmware products (esxi), i've experienced issues when moving vms (especially dcs) 1 host - got error on clients stating trust relationship between computer & domain had been compromised, , workstations refused login.

how can move these vm's correctly (assuming iscsi / live migration not option) goes (touch wood) okay? there guide / best practice how-to somewhere?

tia!

hi

if have 1 dc, whenever goes down clients have issues while dc not accessible. rather ad issue, can suggest install dc in new hyper-v server, have online dc while operation going on.

about servers, you will need take care of network settings mostly, before export/import might try test new box working needed creating few vm's same network settings on old box.
