hello everyone, i have ssas 2008 r2 cube have created , refreshing daily.  recently created excel 2010 spreadsheet pivot table (not powerpivot) , slicers go against ssas cube distributed end users.  now excel sheet/pivot table worked, 1 of end users had no problem hitting "refresh" in data menu update data.  but end users running following error: data not retrieved external data source. error message returned external data source: sales cube either not exist or has not been processed. now went ssas project , verified can access data through cube browser.  i verified data access on own machine though through same excel sheet/pivot table refreshed data no issue.  connection configuration same, authentication setting set use windows logins.  it sounds kind of cube visibility issue end users , i'm stumped.  has else run this? thanks, glen check if users having issues has access cubes. goto roles , check if these users member of of existing roles have

i using latest os x 10.11.5 , use ms rd app version 8.0.31 (build 27132). i running remote desktop server(terminal server) on winserver 2008r2, hosts our own application. our windows users have no issues @ when disconnect. can relaunch remote app , either reconnects last session or starts new session , launches app. our os x users disconnect remote connection , relaunch later, launches instances of same application instead of reconnecting previous session. also, if machin has users credentials , logs in, taking on connection, launches instances instead of connecting existing session's application launched. user can close out of our application, reconnect , use 2 application licenses. different between windows remote desktop , os x version causing relaunch app every time connection made? i have followed document confirm there single session forced per user: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc754762.aspx hi, in order further analyze issue, suggest check

hi all, if thread discussed somewhere else, sorry if tell same question: i have following situation: 2x windows server 2012 (with ms updates) installed role services rdsh, rdwa, rdcb. uvhd disks acitvated users profile data stored in uvhd. disk stored on windows server 2012 fileserver share/ntfs permissions described ms. anything working fine accept issue known, when user tries logon first rdsh server , connection broker redirects him second server, uvhd disk not loaded while locked on first server , process redirection "too fast" uvhd cant dismounted. passtrough authentication active! does know if there hotfix or solution this? if deactivate passtrough authentication, work because, first server have enough time dismount uvhd while user has logon twice account data. workaround , not solution. thanks , best regards hi sir, please apply following group policy setting user , computer configuration, see if issue persists. policies\administrative template

i created gpo following settings: computer configuration\administrative templates\system/group policy\user group policy loopback processing mode = enabled, mode = merge user configuration\administrative templates\start menu , taskbar\remove , prevent access shut down, restart, sleep, , hibernate commands = enabled the gpo enforced , applies ou computer objects. loopback processing should allow user settings apply regardless of user object located in ad long computer object in ou. authenticated users have apply permissions gpo. the gpo works xp workstations, not windows 7. there policy setting accomplish same thing? there i'm missing? i found reason gpos not applying these computers: set using forensit's profile manager sets single local profile shared domain users. have figure out how edit profile. i have active/active setup  3 groups.  2 sql groups , 1 cluster group contains dtc.  99% sure setup correctly , appears running fine.  issue in sql mgmt studio, instance running on physical node owns cluster group (therefor has dtc) shows distributed transaction coordinator online.  instance running on other node show offline.  correct behavior?  not sql expert, , know enough things , running , maintain them.  in advance! i went through same exact setup on weekend , have same exact question.  going create 4th group dtc working should. hope out there can on one.  fail on second instance of sql on server has dtc sql studio shows running.  working our sql guy see if going gotcha or not.   SQL Server  >  SQL Server Setup & Upgrade

olá para todos! estou com problema em minha virtualização(hyper-v) no windows server 2008 standard edition sp1. efetuei o download da versão de teste w2k8, porem cometi um grave erro, instalei o hyper-v, criei maquina virtual e fui desenvolvendo um projeto em cima dessa vm, e acabou concluido, um trabalho que demorou 1 mês para ser concluido. ai que está o problema . comprei o s.o. versão original, chegaram os cd´s da microsoft, minhas licenças etc etc. porem é necessário formatar maquina para instalar com midia original e ativa-lo. gostaria por favor, da ajuda de vocês para mover com segurança esse hyper-v e maquina virtual para uma nova maquina fisica. alguem já passui experiencia nessa etapa? ou conhece maneira correta de se fazer. estou com 2 livros oficiais da microsoft em english, se conseguir alguma novidade posto aqui no forum. desde já agradeço atenção de todos. abraço. ps: tenho certa urgência. rs :) hello, this forum in english, better choose spanish hyper-v: http://social

dear all, we trying launch remote app using mstsc (with of rdp file) , controlling size , position of application using windows apis. resize , reposition happens fine when use movewindow api,  but after this mouse events not propagated remoteapp. mouse events on remoteapp are propagated older position (before movewindow) of application. observation steps:         1. configured , launched notepad remoteapp using rdp file. 2. positioned remoteapp using movewindow api setwindowlong(mainwindowhandle, gwl_style, ws_visible); point  windowposition =  this .pointtoscreen( new   point (0, 0)); movewindow(mainwindowhandle, windowposition.x, windowposition.y,  this .width,  this .height,  true ); setforegroundwindow(mainwindowhandle); nb: here mainwindowhandle remoteapp window handle (mstsc.exe process main handle) 3.   now can see remoteapp repositioned fine mouse events not propagated remoteapp(mstsc.exe) -     mouse events can see shift in mo

i'm trying install hyper-v server 2012 on 1 of our servers. after first installation phase, server reboots , gives me "initializing devices" screen. after this, server reboots again , presents me screen stop error 0xc0000017, , won't let me boot os. after fiddling, found out installing hyper-v server 2012 while server in uefi mode causes error. when install in bios mode, works fine. can't find stop error in combination hyper-v server on internet. has encountered error before? hi, i found such error has record in kb 2209360, apply windows 7 , windows server 2008 r2. in windows server 2012, before install windows on uefi-based computer, should note following: for platforms, may need perform additional steps make sure windows installed in uefi mode, , not in legacy bios-compatibility mode. uefi hard disks require guid partition table (gpt) partition structure, instead of master boot record (mbr) partition structure used in bios. windows preinstallat
