Windows 2012 failed to do hot-unplug for removable disk if taskmgr was running, even though disk was offline

windows 2012 failed hot-unplug removable disk if taskmgr running, if target disk had been taken offline .

windows system reported kernel-pnp 225 event this:

application \device\harddiskvolume2\windows\system32\taskmgr.exe process id 1000 stopped removal or ejection device pci\ven_1af4&dev_1001&subsys_00021af4&rev_00\3&13c0b0c5&0&90.

windows version before windows 2008 r2 hadn't problem.

if taskmgr closed, removable disk's hot-unplug would normal.

think issue is associated new feature in taskmgr in windows 2012, i.e disk io statistics in taskmgr.

there anyway make  offline disk removed no matter of other concerns?  such taskmgr running.

thanks mary, have figured out probem. need use "diskperf -n"  to disable ability view disk performance statistics on performance tab of taskmgr.
