hi, actually don't know if it's problem or if configuration. have application using webservices retrive images, text , sound files stored in database. works fine @ develpment server (i've installed visual studio , silverlight 4 tools) - testing , deploying. (windows 2003 server sp2) the real problem when want deploy server, works, 1 thant doesn't images, can't see them. in fact, if use remote desktop access server , navigate "locally" opens correctly, can see , hear everything. i'm using 3 methods retrive information, 1 of them sound file store "mediaelement" variable. can hear music know ws working can't see images stored "bitmapimage" variable. i think problem firewall or that, because how can possible everething works fine server (using remote desktop) not if navigate pc. have idea what's going on? new server virtual server located in blade (win2003sp2) sorry english im learnig it. ricardo (rich

hello, in 1 of silverlight programs have grid of buttons respond normal buttons. aligned no pixels between them. have click, mouseenter , mouseleave event. click event 'flags' 1 button , changes background. mouseenter event changes content of button. now want create effect should 'flag' button when mouse pressed (mousedown) , mouse on button (mouseenter). problem button stays focussed when mousedown event starts, resulting in not firing mouseenter events on other buttons. what i've found far button control mousedown , mouseenter events modifies behaviour of these events (like, mouseenter not fired when mousedown active). searching results in drag-and-drop tutorials, not looking for. want move outside of button, moving mouseenter event different button, not update position of button (and keeping focus on same button). how can override button achieve effect? greetings, tim my understanding when button control handles click, automati

i have been unable connect since service went down while back. i not sure causing issue.  have tried lot of different things. deleting ie cookies (which allows me enter different creds) still receive same error runas cmd (same error) delete user creds vault (same error) and numerous other "fixes", thoroughly stumped @ moment why occurring. if go tfs location via web url able login without issue.  able login via vs2012 not via vs2008 no matter try. ended deleting ie cookies, restarting vs2008, , connecting tfs service url location. think part of problem wasn't specifying default collection in url. wiped out previous setting hadn't entered in while. i have 1 windows 2008 server. on have adds, dns services. user data has been save in server. security purpose precaution should have to take , please let me know which kind of server have config  if 1 server goes down user can login other server , same data.thanks in advance it recommended have atleast 2 domain controller in domain. i suggest add 1 more additional domain controller in domain falut tolerance purpose. i see using dc file server. not the best practice. it recommaned use dc dns/gc purpose, i suggest install 1 member server , use file server. remember - active directory replicates ad realted data , so if  having user data in dc , not replicated dc.  so suggestion ,  add 2 more windows server 2008 in enviorment , 1. 1 server make additional domain controller running dcpromo on (for fault tolerance , if 1 of dc goes down , other serve authentication request) 2. second server make file server hold user data. ( can take backup of user data on weekely basis)

hello, i adopted rather messy network previous engineer.  have 2008 r2 domain controller cannot replicate 2003 domain controller.  2003 pdce,  holding fsmo roles. both servers dns servers. as can see below, replication has not occurred in 3 months.  has become large issue workstations on network, exchange server. please note believe have done job of making sure there not duplicate dns entries either dc2003 or dc2008r2 on either server. thank can give. issues encountered while running commands from dc2008r2 : - when browse \\dc2003 dc2008r2 receive error: logon failure: account name incorrect. - when run dcdiag /test:dns i receive following initial error: performing initial setup:    trying find home server...    home server = dc2008r2    * identified ad forest.    [dc2003] ldap bind failed error 8341,    directory service error has occurred..    got error while checking if dc using frs or dfsr. error:    directory service error has occurred.the

 hi all, we going rebuild our dr site has 12 servers.  recenty, purchasd 3 dell 2950 servers 16gb ram [node1, node2 , node3] going host 12 vms.  if build 3 nodes a/a/p cluster which node1 , node 2 host 6vms , node3 is the passive node.  so, in case node1 or node2 fails, fail node3.  (if node1 , node2 dead, guess need buy more memory on node 3 host 12 vms) or need build 2 nodes a/p cluster 32gb ram.  node1 host 12 vms , node2 passive node.  if node1 fails, vms failover node2. what recommend? hank you! either way valid...  pure a/p won't give of untilization of hardware resources.  50% sitting idle.  a/a/p, have 33% sitting idle.  in rare event of double failure, end single node trying host more resources can. i installed sp 2 windows 2008 enterprise (x86) on 2 separate servers , both gave me same issue.  i'm not 100% sure sp2 did after updates. both servers have dual nic's , part of 2 separate nlb clusters.  upon rebooting both nic"s on servers enabled, did not lose settings in ipv4 section server reports i'm not connected networks in system tray area.  i've tried resetting tcp/ip stack no luck.  thing seems work go device manager unistall each nic , run hw scan , windows reinstall nic's. problem lose nlb cluster , have rejoin nodes cluster not mention lose access servers remotely.  cant find known issues or kb"s on this...anyone have ideas please forward them along...thanks i have not heard of issues nics in regards windows server 2008 , updating sp2. posting appears no longer experiencing issue. curious though, when did hardware scan, nic drivers updated? please let me know if still have system has not been updated. please remember click “mark ans
