hello,
i believe solution combination of roaming profiles , folder redirection.
because windows xp , windows 7 have different ways of managing profiles creates separate profiles on file server. windows vista , above have .v2 @ end.
this fine application settings, not profile files. folder redirection comes in. regardless of operating system folder redirection keep files in central place.
ue-v replacement roaming profiles. during logon users experience slow logons because trying load application settings server @ logon. ue-v changes in application settings loaded when load application.
ue-v in beta, worth setting in development lab start evaluating product. since there no profile sharing between xp , win 7 worth looking @ replacement roaming profiles windows 7 , windows 8 computers.
users using windows 7 , above benefits of faster logon's.
thank you
