you need run on pdc emulator - that's computer in
domain processes , applies domain password policies.

Hyper-V 2012 - traditional network design vs. converged fabric in a small business enviroment

hello, i in process of preparing our migration hyper-v 2012. @ moment little bit stuck on desision network layout chosse. our future datacenter enviroment have 2 hyper-v clusters (1 5 node production , management systems , 1 2 node cluster dmz) , host 150 vms. there no dynamic in physical infrastructure. systems planned have capacity needed on next 3 4 years. converged fabric i have done experiments converged fabric aproach (without havig vmm managing fabric) , ran several small issues. i have had dublicate mac addresses because hosts had same local mac pool. , vnics hosts got served local mac pool. the vmm dhcp switch extension has installed , activated before joining them cluster , managing them vmm. all avoided using vmm manage fabric or manually managing local mac etc. having vmm manage fabric require vmm run outside cluster on seperate server , effort in initial setup of vmm. tradional setup this straight forward, having 3 teams (host management, csv , li...
