Can a Hyper-V host route public CNAMEs to private IPs of virtual machines?

the functionality i’m looking ip routing, applications (iis & apache) have cname virtual host translation built in, other virtualization technologies (solaris 10 zones).  isa server (on host or in virual machine) way this?

an example of i’m trying do:

public dns domain.com shows:

a-record: 2008.domain.com = 207.46.236.102

cnames: ftp.domain.com, www.domain.com = 207.46.236.102

internal dns domain.com

a-record: 2008.domain.com = 207.46.236.102

cnames: ftp.domain.com, www.domain.com = 192.168.1.2

ideally, similar apache's , iis' virtual hosts (one external ip can host bunch of public websites based on different dns names).  multiple solaris 10 zones (essentially virtual machines) can share single ip call "multilevel networking" each zone's ip traffic labeled zone name, similar vlan tagging.  way 1 external ip can service host , virtual machines based on unique dns names (similar web server virtual hosts).

the thing can think of using internal dns server translate public cnames private ip addresses, route private ips isa.  know of easier way this?

there's no built in functionality hyper-v describe - you'd need implement dns based solution.
