Error configuring Reporting in TFS2010

i tried install tfs2010 on server 2008 box , ran issue installing reporting server. specified database didn't exist. opted skip reporting installation until later thinking maybe somethign happened initial configuration creation. when trying go manually configure reporting service click on edit link, click use reporting checkbox , fill in information 3 tabs (warehouse, analysis services, , reports). when click ok save it, error of "object not set instance of object" , go through tabs , fix missing data. missing??

thanks post. reporting services instance should configured reports , reports temp databse before can configure tfs use it. if have configured it, make sure reports configured in native mode, not on sharepoint integrated mode.

once done, manual configuration steps should work fine.
