Event ID 1058 and 1030... Group Policy problems
i have 1 domain controller. month ago had problem file replication server. opened ticket microsoft , changed "blurflag" value. problem resolved , people login domain.now having problem on network. on 2 different member servers.. there "cannot access gpt.ini" errors. domain controller locks when these errors occur. can access "sysvol" share other computers on domain. permissions on gpt.ini "domain\administrators" = full control "authenticated users" = read/execute , read , "system" = full control. have rebooted multiple times. sysvol\domain.local folder empty except folder called "do not remove ntfrs" service "tcp/ip netbois helper" set automatic , login account nt authority system... , don't know password this. don't have backup of working "group policy" system state. read doing "purgemupcache" , don't know results be.

the command “dfsutil /purgemupcache” resets client's knowledge various sites' information. troubleshooting option should run on client.
clears client mup cache, preventing confusion current provider when such names conflict. except temporary performance hit, command has no other adverse effects. command not affect dfs metadata. if command not run, , namespace not accessed, obsolete cache entry expires.
