The connection has been terminated because an unexpected server authentication certificate was received from the remote computer

all of sudden, users getting  “the connection has been terminated because unexpected server authentication certificate received remote computer”.  i looked @ server , nothing changed.  noticed if go general tab of terminal server configuration, set certificate “auto generate”, works.  this solution work around want use certificate authority certificate “godaddy” created server.  choosing “auto generate” means it’s using self-signed certificate.  i’m noticing threads stating have insure certificate installed on xp workstations.  this not feasible have 100 users using terminal server , of them not connected our domain, using gpo not option.  is there going on godaddy certs or server?
