Windows 2008 domain, cannot access mapped drives


hi iam having communication problem between client laptops , domain controller. each time  client laptop connects lan cannot able ping domain controller , cannot able access mapped drives. have restrat server, running windows 2008 r2 os, client computers windows 7 pro. offline folders status indicate offline not connected.

notice cisco router holds dns role instead of domain controller, i’m afraid may bring issues due router may not have necessary resource domain.


how dns support active directory works

therefore, suggest disable dns role in router , setup ad integrated dns zones.
