DFS explicit permissions on folder are reverting to objectSid - Server 2008 R2 SP1

i've been dealing permissions keep changing objectsid. reported in dfs gui i'm able run cmd "dfsutil property acl \\dfsroot\share" on server and returns correct group names instead of generic sid seen in gui (s-1-5-21-<domain>-2). i've looked here (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc980032.aspx) , don't see appended "-2", itself, anywhere. knew wouldn't find anyways due fact occurring on multiple folders under namespace , giving same objectsid each time... machines having issue new 2008 r2 sp1 boxes new 2008 namespace. i've applied hotfix http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2464365 these boxes no change in behavior.
