Integrating Powershell script with Performance Monitor Alerts

hi,

i've been having difficulty calling powershell scripts the "run task when alert triggered" field under alert task tab when setting perfmon alert in windows server 2012 r2.  there information around windows server 2008 not server 2012.

so possible call powershell script directly field referred above, or is necessary define ps script in  scheduled task , call task above field, defining task arguments , passing them ps script in '$(arg0)'?

thanks,

rick
