Errors managing Software Deployment GPO's with AGPM

we're managing group policy using agpm 3.0, , seems well, except our software deployment gpo's.  able control existing production gpo's successfully, when tried check out 1 of our software deployment gpo's got following error:

check out gpo: corporate office 2007 compatibility...failed

the overall error was: check out operation failed. data invalid. (exception hresult: 0x8007000d)

 additional details follow.

[gpmc error] task cannot completed. application deployment script (.aas file) [\\usherdca24\compatibility\o12conv.msi] cannot regenerated.
the following error occurred:
the windows installer service not accessed. can occur if windows installer not correctly installed. contact support personnel assistance.

i've tried couple of machines (windows vista sp1, windows 7 , server 2008) same results.  windows installer service started , version 4.5.6002 or higher, so don't think there problem with the windows installer service.  msi accessible on unc, , agpm service account has read/write access folder , share.

i next tried creating new gpo through agpm deploy same msi.  able create , configure gpo without errors, when attempted deploy or check out gpo, got same error above.

finally i tried different software deployment gpo , msi, in case there a issue first 1 trying . . . same result.

thank posting here.

this error doesn’t occur on test machines. let’s try steps below troubleshooting.

1. try run agpm on dc directly , check out problematic gpos. error occur?
2. if still occurs, try remove windows installer 4.5 , test. there progress?
3. if not, disable antivirus software , firewall test. what’s result?

4. you may try simple file subinacl.msi. download , create software deployment gpo it. there error?

also, did gpos apply client computers?

in order access new full text search capiblities of sql azure, upgraded our azure sql v12. (a day later), when try create new catalog: create fulltext catalog mycatalog default i following message: msg 9972, level 16, state 100, line 1 database not started or not in online state. try full-text ddl command again after database started , becomes online. hi scott, apologies inconvenience caused you. known issue on service side , fix going included in next update. specific case mitigated, should able use full-text search syntax now. thanks, mihaela Microsoft Azure  >  Azure SQL Database

Remote Desktop App - Error 0x207 or 0x607
