Grant permissions to folder containing roaming profiles

hi everyone

i have server running windows server 2008 hosts share roaming profiles hundreds of windows xp users.  going through domain migration , need grant full control quest migration account allow perform security translation against profile folders.

the problem profile folders owned individual users.  accounts permissions on profile folders , contents are:

1. user account corresponding profile

2. system account

the way can see assign permission first take ownership (including sub folders , files) , grant permissions need.  issue afterwards need go , grant ownership original owner (the user).  last step required there ownership check when user's roaming profile written server upon logout of xp workstation.

is there easy way want?  if not, have scripted method?

i chose go approach of using "do not check user ownership of roaming profile folders" gpo.  worked - means need go later @ point , re-assign ownership , remove gpo.  i'll @ scripting first part when have more time.
