Dell 2XR815 and MD3220i SAN + 5224 switch

hello,

we have been using esxi while on r905 , md3000 platform. due changes in esxi licensing, looking @ other options new deployment. wondering if has implemented hyper-v on dell hardware on production. wanted know experiences, issues, performance stories etc.

our hardware 2 x r815 hardware quad socket 6 core processor+ md 3220i san 12 disks.

some of things worried are:

- stability

- mpio. 3220 has 4 ethernet ports , theoretically can 4gbps. esxi allows 2 parallel paths. hyper-v allow more?

- ram / cpu utilization , performance.

any ideas appreciated.

mpio allows windows® manage , efficiently use 32 paths between storage devices , windows host operating system.
