licensing Hyper-V guests on Essentials

i install essentials on physical host , enable hyper-v role. guests 1 linux server , 1 windows server 2012 essentials experience. expecting use host server network file server. there best way this? in adavance . . .

my understanding can install essentials sku vm under essentials sku hypervisor.  , not easy do.  can install server standard or data center hypervisor install multiple servers vms, 1 or more have essentials role added it.  host server, in cases, not licensed have roles other hypervisor.
