when try put in "domain user" in group authorization, get: "the specified domain either not exist or not contacted".  if don't spell out group want, still knows typing.  connected domain.  else having problem?

 

ok, figured out.  here happened.  have 2 network cards in computer.  1 nic connected external router , other nic connected internal router.  have have gateway in both nic's. 

 

i installed new ts cal's.  odd reason, removed ts gateway manager policies.  so, when attempted setup cap , rap again, couldn't find domain.  so, had go external nic card, remove gateway.  went connection authroization policies (caps) , resource authorization polices (raps) , added groups without problem.  went external nic , re-added gateway.  did that, able connect remotely.



Windows Server  >  Remote Desktop Services (Terminal Services)

Top N or Bottom N filter based on a parameter

i have report parameter selection filtering data, either "highest" or "lowest".  if pick "highest" want top n, if "lowest" want bottom n.  how can set in filter ? j. way there many ways set report accomplish this. e.g asuming "n" fixed, you'll set report parameter has 2 hard-coded values "top" , "bottom" , based on user selects, can write report dataset query if (parameter value = "top") select top n ...... else if (parameter value = "bottom") select top n ......order <ordered column name> desc (again there other ways of doing too) else (whatever business logic needs go here, if @ all) if wanted keep n input parameter well, in addition above top/bottom filter, you'll add input filter (preferably free-text input) accept n , build dynamic sql string concatenating input parameter value in logic above. hope gets on right track. cheers! -muqadder. ...

hi all, i manage windows 2012 r2 network, including connection broker, session hosts , remote apps virtual servers.  i've used remote desktop app on own android phone, no issues @ - connects published gateway url , can login , access network. we looking move business onto nokia handsets ms operating system (currently on blackberry), not able connect via remote desktop app on nokia lumia handset. setup, per android config , brings remote apps , remote desktop screen, know can connect.  when select remote desktop, shows following process: initiating remote connection securing remote connection certificate can't verified - choose connect it digitally signed cert (digicert sha2), pc name different physical connection broker name (inherited domain name old gov project - can't publish publicly) initiating establishing securing connection error have been 0x207 getting 0x607 a bit baffled, work on android (and ipad @ home using app). assume ms use d...
