Problems with LDAP and WINS queries from new subnet to DC

hello,

i attempting implement new workstation subnet.

here information:

nyc-dc 192.168.20.10

workstations: 192.168.21.0/24

when attempt logon from workstation on vlan21 (192.168.21.0/24), receive "domain not available" logon error.

i have captured packets inline see conversation workstation on vlan21 (192.168.21.0/24) nyc-dc versus of a workstation on vlan20 (192.168.20.0/24).  it appears no responses sent dc workstation, other dns (which can see workstation receiving srv record).

inter-vlan routing taking place on firewall, , policies have set correct (see:http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en-us/winservernis/thread/6de9c3f0-2841-4a74-80bb-46a02779124b/#b212362f-9583-42f7-89a3-57e5ad8f53aa).

i have configured subnet in active directory sites , services , associated subnet correct site.

what else need in order configure subnet's workstations authenticate dc?

any appreciated.

thanks,

matt brown

dfs / rdc size estimations?
online backup of active directory / ese db, command line interface esent.dll's jetbackup() function. </small>

identify traffic being filtered out - , open corresponding ports
