Group Policy SysVol not replicating properly
have local ad domain. on domain have 2 dc's dc1 main dc , hosts ad, dns , dhcp. dc2 backup dc on network , hosts ad , dns. first noticed problem month ago when added new gp force windows update. added new policy, every computer in building including dc2 started throwing 1030 , 1058 errors. when investigated further found sysvol on dc1 contained 7 policy objects , dc2 contained 6. so, in short, gp not propagating dc1 dc2. ad seems copy ok. assume have kind of dns issue. i've checked permissions , seems fine. @ frs logs , there no errors in there. yet, blow away gp #7 starts working again, policies pushed out correctly, 1030/1058 errors go away. i'm not sure try see why not working correctly. here dcdiag dc2 glue records errors. please help.

hi tunes4life,
according event id 1030 , 1058, issues occur if computers on network cannot connect group policy objects. specifically, these objects in sysvol folders on network's domain controllers.
to resolve issue, may follow kb 887303's steps troubleshoot issue.
userenv errors occur , events logged after apply group policy computers running windows server 2003, windows xp, or windows 2000
