New 2012R2 DC is not replicating DNS

i in process of replacing 2008 r2 dc 2012 r2  dc. dcpromo of old server complete.  promoted replacement.  repadmin /showrepl returns happy report.  all connections report last attempt successful.i seeing problems dns not replicating.  changes not replicating , new dc.

ran dcdiag /test:dns , dc in question fails connectivity test glaring error:

starting test: connectivity
* active directory ldap services check
         the host e2fdf070-0ae5-4798-9787-cbd4ececcf4e._msdcs.domainname.org could
not resolved ip address. check dns server, dhcp, server name, etc.
got error while checking ldap , rpc connectivity. please check your firewall settings.

......................... servername failed test connectivity

is can safely manually edit?  thoughts on best course of action?

thanks post.

according research, due bad or non-existent dns records on ad server. here steps run through make sure active directory dns has correct records needed allow active directory function correctly.

1. verify srv records.

2. srv records missing after promo.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/241505
3. verify dc’s point 1 “master”, second them self or better.

4. verify dhcp client service running (needed dynamic dns updates)

5. run @ cmd prompt -> net stop netlogon && net start netlogon

6. run @ cmd prompt -> netdiag /fix

7. re run @ cmd prompt -> dcdiag.exe
