hello surendar,

1. problematic server domain controller or member server?

2. os version of problematic server? windows server 2003 or windows server 2008

3. if problematic server not domain controller, can communicate domain controller when issue occurs? please run netdiag.exe on server check network connectivity domain controller. may post result here.

4. how many times approximately logon , logoff problematic server within 2 weeks?

as error message occurs every 2 weeks , hard reset can fix issue, suspect issue may related cached logon count.

as know, if domain controller unavailable, can logon windows using cached logon information validate our account when cachedlogonscount enabled. however, can access network resources not require domain validation using cached credentials. default, versions of windows remember 10 cached logons attempts except windows server 2008.

you may logon problematic server locally , open registry editor check value of cachedlogonscount.

hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows nt\current version\winlogon\

type:reg_sz

name:cachedlogonscount

the default value of cachedlogonscount is 10, you can try changing number 50 increase previous logon attempts server cache.

note: 50 cache 50 logon attempts.

please monitor see if error message occur again.

i hope information can helpful you.
