File Service Resource Manager only operational for five days.
hi all,
the title little misrepresentational, had think of short.
in case, after 5 day mark fsrm service remains running , reports triggered events application eventlog, stop working entirely after 5 days reporting function. not service, functionality. , fsrm mmc well.
when check application eventlog, i'm getting extreme number of events for:
file server resource manager service error: unexpected com error cocreateinstance(clsid_fsrmfilegroupmanager): . error code: 0x800401fd, object not connected server . operation: handling file screen audit event. processing file server resource manager event
unfortunately, 0x1fd (509 dec) doesn't mean me or net helpmsg, i'm @ of impasse how can further diagnose issue.
when restart fsrm service, takes upwards of fifteen minutes restart (the mmc gives waiting in piece, if wait patiently, service gracefully stop) during memory usage of server spirals out maximum - @ 4gb isn't lot virtual machine, know, have expected memory issue present, not starts once service asked stop.
as memory utilisation drops before asking fsrm service stop, that's key indicator service has indeed stopped , can restarted.
has else had issues of nature fsrm?
cheers,
lain
