Logon background color appear in black

hi,

without changes windows logon background appeared in black. server works fine. there way change default background.

i've seen problem before.  may occur because either windows not activated or live mesh (with known bug) installed.  i both of these potential issues.

on new windows 2008 r2 terminal server, seeing event id 6281 source microsoft windows security.
