Server 2008 R2 - Terminal Server - Folder redirection
we have 2008 r2 ts server (remote desktop session host). user profiles, documents, etc. redirected network path. network path located on the same server. when user tries access e.g. 'my documents' on terminal server, emty, though it's not. 'location' for 'my documents' changes after first use local path name: \\server\share\test -> d:\data\share\test. we have group policy in place, block access local drives c: d:, etc. seems block access the path, because located on same server. these same gpo's, tha used on 2003 server , worked fine.
appreciated.

hi lars,
it's design in windows 2008 r2 , windows 7 that system change unc path local path if unc path points local machine.
as workaround, may move user's redirected folder file server.
