Windows could not search for new udpates


windows 2008 r2 standard version

trying install updates.  no wsus server. getting below error message

followed many troubleshooting steps (restart server, troubleshooter, followed kb's) no luck

got it, renamed softwaredistribution folder , fixed. seems datastore corruption.

yes, last update 2013. new client:)
