Cannot remove last set of HDDs from a storage pool migration to SSD drives
i have storage pool 1 virtual disk trying migrate hdds ssds. intent not create tiered storage pool, remove hdds. able add ssds without issue, found not remove final 2 hdds pool.
cli errors unhelpful, got 1 saying "not enough free space" when attempting remove either/both hdds. somehow able set mediatype 1 spare ssd had hdd , allowed me remove 1 real hdd, still leaves me 2 drives showing hdd in storage pool. cannot seem use set-physicaldisk -friendlyname xxxx -mediatype hdd/ssd command change hdds ssds or ssd hdd replace final real hdd.
i'm 99% sure final problem there 2 hdds in pool , cannot remove them since pool thinkgs ssd != hdd. there way these out without having delete pool , start over?
only showed above:

i worked around problem migrating data off virtual disk deleted storage space , created new one. worked me time because had ~125% raw disk capacity, in future more of problem me. chalk glitch impossible remove last set of hdds existing non-tiered storage space if there available ssds present. i'm sure others replicate problem, don't have time open true support case when don't have ongoing business case problem correct.
