Connections limit

i have windows server 2008 file server. file server hosts personal directories of end users. 1 particular user receiving folling error message when synching files, " no more connections can made remote computer @ time because there many connections computer can accept."

the client using windows xp sp2. maximum amount of users can connect share set 10 , end-user person has access share.

any tips or suggestions on or at?

thanks,
mj

when see issue, suggest verify number of connections under 10 share.  there else connecting share didn't realize.  check number of connections share run start -> administrative tools -> computer management -> system tools -> shared folders -> shares , check # client connections share in question.

if find number 10 can check out list of connections in sessions section see if can track down connections coming from.
