Memory related issue


hi all,

in 1 of our sql server box (i took on box), being used monitor other sql , webservers runningstored procedures in each , every minute.

everything going smoothly until last couple of weeks seems. suddenly, sql agent stops automatically in sql monitory box. when checked memory availability in task manager, shows less 10% available free memory. lot of powershel.exe running on processes column.

i guess stored procedures invoking powershell.exe , not closing after done operation.

can me identify consumes more memory , going behind scene. checked blocks or locks , failed see using ssms

please me resolve this.

please check detail of job.

if there invocation powershell, seems powershell threads worked incorrectly.

if there no invocation powershell, please check other programs see program running it.

 

in order check content of job, please follow steps below:

1.       connect sql server via sql server management studio

2.       in object explorer window, please expand “<instance> | sql server agent | jobs”

3.       right-click on job , choose properties

4.       in “job properties - <job name>” window, please click steps in left pane

5.       then choose step in right pane , click edit button more information step
