RDP log - Windows Server 2012

our production servers use same credentials rdp access. our support team access servers, uses same rdp credentials access servers, of course, each 1 of support team members has it's own desktop , private credentials.

is there log in server side tracks rdp connections , maybe client accessing it?

hi,

having multiple users use same credentials is not recommended security , usability reasons.  in rare, specialized cases can make sense (for example, auto-logon kiosk anonymous users or special apps authenticate).

if want continue current configuration 1 thing can suggest have script run @ log on logs clientname environment variable file and/or event log.  example, this:

echo "%username%","%clientname%","%date%","%time%">>c:\logs\logon.csv
