Hyper v cluster and storage
i looking set hyper v cluster using server 2012 , nas storage addition das attached via sas. should attach clustered servers nas via sas. the network 1gb , have between 10 , 15 servers vm's. thought help.
your nas needs support smb 3.0 , that's rare beast these days (except netapp boxes , expensive , have issues smb 3.0 implementations far, google details). you'll end windows server 2012 r2 smb 3.0 share (single point of failure) or clustered setup (sofs or pair of windows boxes smb 3.0 failover share if need support generic workload, sofs concept limited hyper-v , sql server workloads supported far). sas need @ what's called "clustered storage spaces" , unless want deploy third-paty software solutions cost-effective way go you. see:
