Importing pictures with geotags, and plotting to Bing map

i imagine sql server able store picture side side it's gps lat/long.

my question whether or not doing import of jpeg , reading lat/long off of exif record geospatial data?

the purpose plot pictures (pins) on bing map.

you in sql server, wouldn't need make use of spatial functionality so... simple point location identified single latitude/longitude coordinate pair, use 2 numeric columns (e.g. decimal(18,9), while image data stored blob (i.e. varbinary(max)). so, in fact, use pretty database.

to extract exif information, try looking here: http://www.codeproject.com/articles/11305/exifextractor-library-to-extract-exif-information
