No resolve for "There has been a network or file permission error. The network connection may be lost."

i have user in remote office having "there has been network or file permission error. network connection may lost."  microsoft article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/291156 details of symptoms occurring, however, not give suitable workaround.  we not wish save local drive or have user copy , forth between local drive , network drive.  the issue occurs on 2 different network shares, both located on same server.  i've tried accessing both unc path , mapped drive , both have issue.  the issue sporadic - file save, not.  i've checked security permissions , okay.  when user remotes our terminal server, no error ever given, no matter how many times change document , save.  the file server microsoft failover cluster running server 2008 between 2 servers.  the user running windows 7 , using office 2010 pro.  no 1 else @ remote office (or in general) has yet report issue.
any suggestions?

hi willjasen,

thanks posting here

so user connect file server through vpn connection ? what’s os running on user’s host ? host multihomed? have installed third party network protection software on ? firewall?

you might first compare network settings others not encounter issue @ remote site.

thanks.
