Excel Remote App - Document not saved. Windows 7 client

only threads vista or xp client. having issues windows 7 client.

the user can open excel files excel remote app. files located on network share on terminal server. when user tries save excel file gets error 'document not saved'. after i've killed mstsc.exe process on client , restart remote app seems te working should.

has else encountered such issues?

the client, server , office 2007 date.

based on search, problem may occur if following conditions true:

 

saving file network drive. 

connection network drive has been lost. 

workbook contains of following items:

pivottables 

visual basic applications modules 

embedded objects (such clip art)

 

to prevent problem occurring, can add networkresiliency , pivottablenetworkresiliency subkeys registry. this, follow these steps.

 

1.  click start , , click run . 

2.  in open box, type regedit , , click ok . 

3.  in left pane, expand following items in order appear

 

microsoft office excel 2007

hkey_current_user

software

microsoft

office

12.0

excel 

4.  in left pane, click options folder. 

5.  on edit menu, point new , , click dword value . 

6.  type networkresiliency , , press enter. 

7.  double-click networkresiliency icon. 

8.  in value data box, type 1 , , click ok . 

9.  on edit menu, point new , , click dword value . 

10.  type pivottablenetworkresiliency , , press enter. 

11.  double-click pivottablenetworkresiliency icon.  

12.  in value data box, type 1 , , click ok .
