A.D Creating multiple user accounts for the same user aside from the one physically created.

   hello!

 this first time posting on forum, i apologize if question has been answered.

so let me start saying issue happening @ random users , @ 1 of sites (i have 4) stating share group policy settings. have 1 user name ,  password setup in a.d. , part have no issues. users takes them 5 10 minutes login, prompted investigation. come find out users there 3 iterations of his/her login name ex: mary.jane, mary.jane.(domain), mary.jane.(domain).000. have no idea how got there 1, , 2 why happening users? on particular problem greatly appreciated! 

it seems profile corrupted take backup of existing profile , registry and delete profile.
hkey_local_machine \ software\ microsoft\ windows nt \ currentversion \ profilelist\usersid .
delete duplicate sid e.g username,username.bak,username.domain.00,check sid , delete.

also how profile configure using roaming profile if profolis large issue.check event log(system/application,etc) as  may evidence troubleshoot further.you can enable user environment debug logging.

also ensure latest hotfix , patch is installed on win7 client pc.checked client subnets mapped correct site in ad sites , service usses local dc authenticate.

disable windows firewall , av temporary.it due av or 3rd party security application act firewall , block ad communuctaion.av symantec,trend,etc have new features "protect network traffic".please check av setting , disable same if defined.

please check above details , post error reported in event logand ipconfig /all details of client.
