Dynamic resolution update with RDP 8.1 between two Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 Clients

i tried install rdp 8.1 protocol , clients on 2 of workstations try out new 'dynamic resolution update' feature of rdp 8.1. but didn't succeed.

should feature work between 2 w7 pcs? or work w7 -> w2008 r2 server?

if should work, i'd glad hear how make work.

i'm not talking of 'smart scaling', i'd rdp session change screen resolution automatically when dock notebook , connect external screen.

dynamic resolution not going work between 2 windows 7 pcs.

the host needs to accept incoming rdp 8.1 or later, example, server 2012 r2 or windows 8.1/10 , client needs support rdp 8.1.

resolution , scaling level updates in rdp 8.1
