Searching ADUC for computers with 15+ character names

hi guys

i asked start naming new servers more descriptively (dpt-project-app-seqno-envir) , these names go on 15 characters. domain , forest functional levels windows server 2003. newly built servers windows 2008 r2 , netbios names not used or needed applications or users. looks okay, except in aduc, listing computers in ou shows netbios names default, under attribute 'name', can add column display name. however, search computer name containing 15+ characters not return anything, search netbios name does.

is possible extend or modify attribute 'name' computers show full names (e.g. modified displayname) default , can searched full names (or display names) in aduc?
