dhcp additional help

i going migrate windows 2003 r2 32 bit dhcpservers windows 2008 r2 servers.

we need export , import registry key , know why? located?

i going use netsh dhcp server export/import

since take 1 week switch, need switch windows 2008 r2 servers after exporting dhcp db?

that in case have performed custom changes on registry keys.

it hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\dhcpserver\configuration

you can use dhcmpmig mentioned in article not supported microsoft. that, recommend testing in test environment before using in production one.
