hyper-v deduplication

hello, how can deduplicate filesystem has several vhdx files on it? (that not running in hyper-v --- backed onto partition.)

want use replication + deduplication, if can't, fine manually backing vhdx files , using deduplication can fit more in storage pool.

please don't tell me can't "by design" because if want lose "performance" should choice, not programmers @ microsoft.

definatly should work well, take here: http://blogs.technet.com/b/filecab/archive/2012/05/21/introduction-to-data-deduplication-in-windows-server-2012.aspx it should count vhd library, deduplication rate should high.

but should not forget set file age to 0 (default 5 days)

keep in mind quote from  technet: "deduplication can set process files 0 days old , system continue function expected, not process files exclusively open. not use of server resources deduplicate file being written to, or written in near future. if adjust default minimum file age setting 0, test deduplication not being undone changes data.

deduplication not process files , exclusively open write operations. means not deduplication savings unless file closed when optimization job attempts process file meets selected deduplication policy settings."

guess idea should work fine.
