I cannot see my website from inside.

i have windows2003 server setup , i've loaded iis on it.  my webpage work , able see webpage externally not internally. when type in pubic ip address on server or anywhere on internal network can't see it.  outside can see webpage fine.  i guessing dns problem not know problem is.

know how fix this?

does not sound dns related since trying access page via public ip address.  when type in ip url, there no dns lookup.  if unable access the public ip inside network, nat related.  many of consumer based nat routers not allow accessing public ip maps private ip, inside network.

does webserver have public ip configured, or private ip, nat'd via internet router?

 

for dns, create host record on internal zone, map record private ip address of web server.
