KMS Activation Error 0xC004F056
we're running kms server on windows 2008 r2 sp1 system. we've installed our server 2012-r2 key , applied hotfix 2885698. we're having problems activating server 2012 datacenter r2 systems. application logs, on clients, show attempting contact our kms server fail activate. our kms server licensing looks this:

i've checked networking side of things , clear. thing can think client server 2012 r2 , host server 2008 r2 sp1 , maybe don't down-level relationship.

regarding current issue, please first try reinstall hotfix using installation instructions section of kb article mentioned. in addition, try refer following article troubleshoot issue manually.
