Our RDP became really slow so I changed the default port with a forward on our router, but now that is slow.

our rdp became slow our users changed default port forward on our router (after attempting various other fixes).

therefore connect users using external-ip:5432 translated router to 192.168.1.49), after 2 months unfortunately had same issue occur.

this not computer speed issue, cpu usage not on 30%.

i changed port again in server's registry instead (ie newly set 1998 instead of 3389, users connected using external-ip:1998 translated router to 192.168.1.49:1998. fine 2-3 months, again same issue occurred.

reset windows registry port 3389 , have got router open on port 3334 (external-ip:3334 translated router to 192.168.1.49) , 3389 (external-ip translated router to 192.168.1.49), both work fine other port still slow (5432), have ideas why happening?

i hope doesn’t happen again!

ps have upgraded , changed router solve issue, , issue re-occurred after moved offices!

please help!

thanks

anthony
