WSUS not syncronizing with Microsoft

hello all,

i'm facing problem upstream. server worked fine until last sep. 08. then, in next day, faced fails syncronize microsoft. via proxy. in proxy, there's rule allowing sincronization: .... stats.update.microsoft.com:443 - direct/207.46.21.58.

as far can see, our proxy isn't problem. looking sync log, this:

the error type unknown.

typeinitializationexception: type initializer 'microsoft.updateservices.serversyncwebservices.serversync.serversyncproxy' threw exception. ---> system.security.securityexception: request principal permission failed. @ microsoft.updateservices.internal.classfactory.createinstance(type type, object[] args) @ microsoft.updateservices.serversync.serversynclib.getwebserviceproxyinternal(updateserverconfiguration serverconfig, webservicecommunicationhelper webservicehelper, boolean usecompressionproxy) @ microsoft.updateservices.serversync.serversynclib.getwebservicecompressionproxy(updateserverconfiguration serverconfig, webservicecommunicationhelper webservicehelper) @ microsoft.updateservices.serversync.catalogsyncagentcore.retrievesubscriptiondata() @ microsoft.updateservices.serversync.catalogsyncagentcore.executesyncprotocol(boolean allowredirect)

yesterday i've had problem open wsus console - denying connections. i've changed webservice apiremoting30-> authentication-> anonymous auth -> disabled , windows auth -> enabled http 401 challenge.

i tought error strange, because no 1 made different configuration...

could give me help?

thanks!

hello,

well, hour after post tried simple solution: rebooted wsus server. after that, began sync normally... maybe fact of changing iis properties (i've restarted wsus administration site) , not restarting server source of problem faced...
