Firewall blocking everything in SBS 2003


hi there, i'm quite new i.t field please bear me.

my client has sbs 2003 server service pack 2, had disable mcafee firewall blocking critical file o/s, , opted enable windows firewall.

my problem comes in if enable windows firewall no-one on network can access mapped network drive server, , remote desktop connections via vpn not work either.

i have given exceptions to:

1.) tcp port 1723 (pptp)

2.) udp port 4500 (l2tp)

3.) udp port 1701 (l2tp)

4.) udp port 500 (ipsec/esp)

5.) tcp port 3389 (remote desktop)

6.) tcp port 443 (sstp)

even after giving exceptions these ports firewall still refuses let me through when enable firewall.

have modified settings before issue occur ?

i’d suggest temporarily remove mcafee firewall program form sbs host , reconfigure firewall settings following introductions in article below:
