Hyper-V Virtualization in other network segments

i have windows 2008 enterprise server hyper-v role.  i plan virtualize couple roles.  role1 web server, virtual server placed on our dmz.  role2 role requires virtual server placed on secure internal network segment.  the hosting os (physical server) placed on secure internal network segment.

each virtual server assigned own nic card , respective ip.  i want make sure there no possibility of data being routed/passed 1 interface another.

in other words access can never allowed dmz our secure internal network segment except through authorized routers/firewalls reside on dmz.  i attempting confirm virtual instances , hosting os cannot circumvent network restrictions , pass data amongst/between each other.

assistance appreciated.  thank you.

hi.

hi. best way achieve upgrade 2008 r2, can dedicate/isolate (not allow management operating system share connection) networks in hyper-v.

for brief overview of basic networking in hyper-v 2008 r2 : http://kristiannese.blogspot.com/2010/10/basic-networking-in-hyper-v.html

you can check blog post scripting in 2008: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/robertvi/archive/2008/08/27/howto-create-a-virtual-swich-for-external-without-creating-a-virtual-nic-on-the-root.aspx

but in order to answer question: yes, possible , many organizations runs configuration. find similar posts in forum confirms that.

regards,
