Undocumented system stored procedures
i know there lot of undocumented system stored procedures such xp_ntsec_enumdomains, xp_instance_regread etc, exist on sql server.
does know of websites contain descriptions of these stored procedures do? in particular know default installation of sql server 2000 leaves permission execute many of these granted public , interested in finding out implications of each 1 of these are? have tried googling topic there doesn't seem me or there (or there in chinese , don't want click on to!)
once again help.
no 1 place find information on undocumented stored procedures, extendeded stored procedures. can find information in following article:
http://www.sql-server-performance.com/ac_extended_stored_procedures.asp
chapter 20 in ken henderson's book guru's guide transact-sql has information well. you'll find the information is scattered around. there isn't 1 concise reference of undocumented procedures....otherwise documented!
