hi spunny,

depends on business requirement.

firstly, sql server linked server feature lets access oracle data, , can insert data oracle sql server, or update/delete data oracle on linked server. however, cannot send data oracle via linked server.

secondly, sql server 2012 supports following heterogeneous scenarios.

•publishing data oracle sql server.

•publishing data sql server non-sql server subscribers.

heterogeneous replication option when need provide immediate updates from/to oracle database. there still design considerations , limitations, such maximum size limits , how nulls handled. , please note heterogeneous replication non-sql server subscribers deprecated, oracle publishing deprecated. move data,  it recommended use change data capture , ssis.

thirdly, can review following similar blogs transfer data sql server oracle or move data oracle sql server using ssis.

export sql server data oracle using ssis
using ssis data out of oracle: big surprise!
