after searching , testing wondering if dns server see own authority domain...

nslookup on ad / dns server gives localhost 127.0.0.1. should't servername it's ip address instead?

i have netlogon (5781) warning in system event: dynamic registration or deletion of 1 or more dns records associated dns domain 'forestdnszones.mydomain.local.' failed...

when run nltest.exe /dsregdns command

command completed successfully

i dns warning website loosing: dns server encountered error 32 attempting load zone under.mydomain.com active directory. dns server attempt load zone again on next timeout cycle. can caused high active directory load , may transient condition.

hi ezonebc,

>> using nslookup on ad/dns server gave local address 127.0.0.1 why?

if configured primary dns server address 127.0.0.1 in dns server, this is normal.

or you can configure local dns server address as primary dns server address , situation will cause many problems.

>> netlogon warning in system event code:5781 prompted dns dynamic registration or deletion failed.

>> dns server encountered error 32 when attempt load sub zone ad.

these above issue, follow these links below, trying solve it.

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/support/ee/transform.aspx?prodname=windows+operating+system&prodver=5.2&evtid=5781&evtsrc=netlogon

>>can access page right outside.

you delete workstation's record , rebuilt new record manually.
