Physical disk can't be brought online

following steps create , turn on disk resource:

1). c:\>cluster res diske /create /group:"available storage" /type:"physical disk"

2). c:\>cluster res diske /priv disksignature=0xa79db16a
   (note: a79db16a disk signature of local physical disk e:\)

3). c:\>cluster res diske /on

however, step 3 failed following errors:

bringing resource 'diske' online...
system error 5018 has occurred (0x0000139a).
the cluster resource not brought online resource monitor.


and cluster logs following:

this not going work. disk must support scsi3 persistent reservations in order added cluster...and based on error, assume local disk not.

if you've using 3rd party vendor's application "trick" cluster seeing local disks shared disks, you'll need work 3rd party vendor see how recommend configure storage resources in cluster.

in order access new full text search capiblities of sql azure, upgraded our azure sql v12.
