out terminal server running server 2003 r2 got hacked via remote desktop. hackers install bunch of crap, made gust , many other local accounts admin. use kaspersky , malware bytes scan , did find ton of junk including mass email programs well. use super spyware. password has been change more complex one. after scan , removal of malware, had manually disable guess account , remove guess account admin group. after while gets enable self , guess account part of administrator group. use tcp view check connections found nothing suspicious. other app process explorer check none ms or unknown apps running haven't find thing specious. anyone here got idea or ever experience of such event? love find solution quickly.     please refer window  2003 hrdening guide http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc264467.aspx http://www.virmansec.com/blogs/skhairuddin Windows Server ...

help me oh great ad gurus of net.  ups failed (of course, right?) crashed drive in my win 2k8 r1 32bit  domain controller.  luckily, have one, seized roles , transfered ok.    able dhcp database off old dc , moved over!  points that.  anyway, thought went going ok until try access resource in different domain in have trust relationship with...   using an account in domain dc crashed, fail authenticate when accessing anything.   people ok thought , presume because have cached credentials -  how long until stop working?   i error can't contact domain controller "insert domain name here". this must dns issue right? i wanted rebuild dc win2k8 r2 anyway. so question(s) is/are - if use same name new dc old dc, running issues?  or be easier use new name , clean old one? should try fix issue cross-domain authentication thing failing? seems rebuilding same name best does...

hello, ham having issues windows 8 laptop my laptop hp envy m6 , working fine yesterday after restarting , updating however today tried turning on met blank screen. tried restarting removing , replacing batteryended doing @ least 4 times until ended starting did when first bought it, multicoloured background changed colours captions 'installing apps'. when completed able log on, 3 icons have shown up, desktop icon, hp support systems , green applications icon. unable access of them because laptop screen keeps flashong , wont let me cliick on them. manages onto internet accessing task manager , using microsoft management console. i laptop working again , ome greatley appreciated. thanks contact hp.  sounds hardware problems. .:|:.:|:. tim Windows Server  >  Windows Serv...
